Session Details How Forty8Fifty Labs Enabled a DevOps Team to Reduce a 22-Week Delivery to 30 Minutes

ATLANTA – September 27, 2016 – Forty8Fifty Labs, the new DevOps and software development division of Verinext®, today announced that two of its company executives will present a speaking session during Splunk .conf2016 titled, “The Impossibles – A Story from a DevOps Team.” The session, presented by Forty8Fifty Labs’ Rashad Neloms, Vice President Technology & Strategy, and Brooke Gravitt, Vice President Engineering and Chief Software Architect will outline the best practices they used to reduce a 22-week product delivery to just 30 minutes.

“A key retail customer asked us to perform the impossible, reduce a complex 22-week delivery project to just 30 minutes,” said Neloms. “Not only were we able to deliver on the request, we drove processes and strategies to enable both development and operations to work together. Just a week later, the team was processing some 5,000 environment provisioning requests. In our session during Splunk .conf2016, we’ll share how we did this and offer best practices attendees can take home to apply in their own teams.”

The session, The Impossibles – A Story from a DevOps Team will be presented during Splunk .conf2016, in Orlando, Fla., on Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at 4:35 p.m. For more information, visit: https://conf.splunk.com.

Forty8Fifty Labs will also be featuring its range of products, services and solutions to support CIO, Dev Teams and Ops Teams in the Atlassian booth #M19.
