Now available to support JIRA Service Desk server and cloud users, it can also activate enhanced, real-time alerts within HipChat to arm development teams with the information and context they need to build system performance and reliability. It empowers teams to close the loop on responses to issues taking place in their environment and provides development and operations teams with an anytime, anywhere view of the state of their service request.

SmartHandler for Mail is an advanced mail decisioning and automation solution for Atlassian JIRA Software and JIRA Service Desk that is designed to turn email into action. This new product automates issue and ticket creation and updates based on email content helping organizations save valuable time and human capital by avoiding manual ticket creation based on information contained in inbound emails or forms.

SmartHandler for Mail will be explored further during the Atlassian Summit 2017 session, “Dominos’ Delivery of a Faster Response was No Standard Order,” at 1:45 on September 14.
